Course Overview

Certificate in Science and Technology: This course is a short program that provides students with a basic knowledge of science and technology. Students will learn the core areas of science and technology, such as scientific methods, scientific communication, scientific ethics, and scientific skills. Students will also choose a major from one of the science and technology disciplines, such as applied mathematics, astronomy, biomedical science, chemistry, environmental science, food science, geospatial science, marine biology, microbiology, or engineering. Students will also develop their communication and analytical skills. This course is suitable for students who want to gain an introduction to science and technology or prepare for further study in science and technology.
