Course Overview

Certificate in Arts-social sciences and public policy: This course is a short program that provides students with a basic knowledge of social sciences and public policy. Students will learn the core areas of social sciences and public policy, such as sociology, psychology, political science, economics, and public policy. Students will also choose a major from one of the social sciences and public policy disciplines, such as conflict resolution, criminology, education, human rights, international relations, or social work. Students will also develop their communication and analytical skills. This course is suitable for students who want to gain an introduction to social sciences and public policy or prepare for further study in social sciences and public policy.
