Course Overview

Bachelor of Engineering (Honours): This course is an engineering program that provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the engineering principles and practices. Students will learn the core areas of engineering, such as engineering mathematics, engineering design, engineering management, and engineering ethics. Students will also choose a major from one of the engineering disciplines, such as architectural engineering, construction engineering, electrical and electronic engineering, mechanical engineering, or mechatronics engineering. Entry Requirement

Bachelor of Engineering (Honours): This course requires applicants to have a minimum of NCEA Level 3 with 14 credits in each of three subjects from Table A and/or Table B, including at least one subject from Table A. Applicants must also have a minimum of 18 credits in NCEA Level 3 English or Te Reo M?ori, and a minimum of 18 credits in NCEA Level 3 Mathematics or P?ngarau, including at least 4 credits in calculus and 4 credits in algebra. Applicants must also have a minimum of 16 credits in NCEA Level 2 Physics or 14 credits in NCEA Level 3 Physics. Applicants may be required to attend an interview or complete a written test.
