Course Overview
This is a three-year programme that equips students with the knowledge and skills to design, synthesise, analyse, and evaluate new drugs and pharmaceutical products. Students will learn the core areas of pharmaceutical chemistry, such as organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, pharmacology, biochemistry, and analytical chemistry, as well as the research methods and techniques used in drug discovery and development. Entry Requirement
A pass in the Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum of Grade C (NGMP 2.00) in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics/Mathematics, or equivalent.
A pass in the Matriculation/Foundation/Pre-University programme with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics/Mathematics, or equivalent.
A pass in the Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with a minimum of Grade B in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics/Mathematics, or equivalent.
A pass in the Diploma in Science or a related field from a recognised institution with a minimum CGPA of 2.75, or equivalent.
