Course Overview
This is a three-year programme that provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the role of food and nutrition in health and wellness. Students will learn the science and principles of nutrition, such as the functions and metabolism of nutrients, the dietary requirements and recommendations, the food sources and composition, and the effects of nutrition on growth, development, and health. Students will also learn the skills and techniques of nutrition education, promotion, and intervention. Entry Requirement
A pass in the Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum of Grade C (NGMP 2.00) in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics/Mathematics, or equivalent.
A pass in the Matriculation/Foundation/Pre-University programme with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics/Mathematics, or equivalent.
A pass in the Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with a minimum of Grade B in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics/Mathematics, or equivalent.
A pass in the Diploma in Science or a related field from a recognised institution with a minimum CGPA of 2.75, or equivalent.
A minimum score of 550 in the paper-based TOEFL, 79 in the internet-based TOEFL, or 6.0 in the IELTS, or equivalent.
