Course Overview
This is a five-year programme that prepares students for the practice of medicine. Students will learn the basic and clinical sciences, such as anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, surgery, medicine, paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology, and psychiatry, as well as the professional and ethical aspects of medical practice. Students will also gain clinical experience in various settings, such as hospitals, clinics, and rural health centres. Entry Requirement
A pass in the Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum of Grade A (NGMP 4.00) in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics/Mathematics, or equivalent.
A pass in the Matriculation/Foundation/Pre-University programme with a minimum CGPA of 3.50 in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics/Mathematics, or equivalent.
A pass in the Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with a minimum of Grade A in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics/Mathematics, or equivalent.
A pass in the Diploma in Science or a related field from a recognised institution with a minimum CGPA of 3.75, or equivalent.
A minimum score of 600 in the paper-based TOEFL, 100 in the internet-based TOEFL, or 6.5 in the IELTS, or equivalent.
A minimum score of 5 in each band of the International Medical Admissions Test (IMAT), or equivalent.
A statement of purpose, a resume, and two letters of recommendation.
