Course Overview

The MEng (Master of Engineering) is an Integrated Master's degree designed to cultivate graduate Engineers capable of addressing societal needs through the creation of products or processes that contribute to individual well-being or economic growth. In this program, many courses integrate principles of mechanical engineering science with mini-projects, fostering collaborative group work to devise solutions for engineering challenges. The core courses, such as Design and Manufacture, as well as Business Awareness, Safety, and Sustainability, are specifically structured to amalgamate knowledge from various engineering science disciplines within a project framework. In the final year, the individual project empowers students to specialize in an area of their choice. Working closely with an academic staff member, they delve into a particular niche area of Mechanical Engineering, enhancing their expertise and contributing to the broader field.
