Course Overview

The aim of this program is to elevate the expertise of mechanical engineering graduates from a bachelor's to a master's level. Through advanced instruction, design projects, and research, it equips individuals from diverse engineering backgrounds with the essential knowledge and skills in mechanical engineering necessary for their professional growth. A primary objective is to offer an accredited pathway toward achieving chartered engineer status. Utilizing master's-level courses in Energy Sciences and Manufacture and Design, alongside specialized modules from relevant MSc programs within the Institute, this program caters to the increasing demand for advanced mechanical engineering expertise highlighted by our industry partners. It's purposefully structured to address this demand and encourage continuous learning among students. Furthermore, this program augments graduates' capabilities with an advanced skill set, qualifying them for eligibility as chartered or professional engineers, or as professional engineers registered with BEM (Board of Engineers Malaysia).
